On arrival at Bracken Burrows you immediately feel a
sense of calm and notice how peaceful your surroundings are.
Even though it is relatively easy to find you feel as though
you are much more remote once you unpack and sit on the
decking of your Pod, looking out over the seemingly endless
fields and absorbing the tranquility of your environment.
The Pod I stayed in was called ‘Tommy’ which was the smallest
of the 3 Pod’s on site but was just perfect for myself and my partner
for the next couple of days, we also had the added luxury of a
Wood Fired Hot Tub supplied by Naked Flame Eco Tubs Ltd.
The space inside feels a lot larger due to some clever thinking when
it came to the design of the Pod, we had ample cooking facilities
with all the utensils supplied and a toaster, kettle, coffee machine,
microwave & fridge to boot.
There is also a dining table which was just the right size to
accommodate the 2 of us. The Bathroom is also very well thought
out and had a lovely, walk-in shower cubicle with powerful shower.
If you’re looking for a peaceful nights sleep you will not go far
wrong with a stay at Bracken Burrows, comfortable, quiet & cozy,
just the job to wind down in a lovely part of The Yorkshire Wolds.
If outdoor cooking is your thing each Pod also has a Barbecue
out on the decking.

Even though the Pods are sumptuous, once you get the
doors open and outside on the decking you still feel that
outdoorsy/camping element to your stay especially when
you get the fire & hot tub lit! The Hot Tub itself is just fantastic,
simple enough to light and get to temperature,
all I did was make a bit of dinner and have a glass of wine
whilst I was waiting, then we jumped in just as it was dark...
...BLISS!

Hosts Nick & Lucy made sure we had everything we needed
for our stay and I could not have asked for anything more.
The only thing I would change on returning is to stay longer!
The area of Driffield itself is very close to the coast
so Bridlington is only half hour drive away, we also visited
the historic town of Beverley during our stay which was
only 20 mins away so there are plenty of things to see and
do within close proximity.
